what does 2nd/3rd rate mean to you? ranked?

or tiers?

who is ahead of LSU?

Alabama is the obvious answer. so name other teams who are 1st rate??

A program and fans being content being one of 25-30 teams winning 10 games a season when freaking VANDY has won 9.

But hey....REMEMBER THE 90's!!!!!!

Who is just content with that? People are just saying that things could be much worse and that you shouldn't melt down over 10 win seasons. You really have an inferiority complex.

you can't honestly think that 10 wins in the MAC or big ten, mean as much as 10 wins on LSU's schedule though.

i am content but feel there is room for improvement on the offensive side of the ball (and frankly the defensive breakdowns on 2 min drills have me worried too).

I feel like saban's success at bama in what will be winning 3 of last 4 titles has done nothing but made the margin of perceived success so small at LSU that meeting or exceeding expectations become nearly impossible.

if LSU wins the NC next year there will be fans who will either be upset that it means miles will be here longer or unsatisfied and say "well, saban has more rings"
