re: 3rd and short

Players have to execute. I'll be happy to see an OC on staff, but Stud's calls at the end of that game were hardly what anyone expected. QB didn't execute. 3rd and short running play in second half, nobody accounts for the backer lined up ready to shoot in on the RB. On a couple of these plays it seemed obvious that the QB should have changed the play based on a defensive shift and it just didn't happen. In two losses this year, the play calling was not "predictable" in my opinion, but plays were not executed and it put the defense in difficult situations and on the field too long. Given our challenges in the defensive backfield, this was a recipe for failure.
