Programs in decline win their conference the previous season? Then go on to a 10 win season?

A 10 win season this year means so little. There were more than 20 teams this year that were at the 10 win level prior to this week. By the end of bowl season there will be even more. So, congrats, 1 SEC title in six years, 1 SEC west division title in 6 years, and in the 10 win club with about a fifth of the FBS. Big whoop.
Texas played in an NCG in 2009. Auburn won one in 2010. Oklahoma State was a a few plays and some weird voting from one last year. Where are those programs now?
Things can change fast in college football if you get complacent, and LSU is complacent.
