Has he received any praise from the coaching staff? I don't remember reading anything on him. Just that he's physically ready. I know his HS coach said he was better than Von Miller at that point in their career.

I think Chavis talked him up big when he first arrived, and when Chavis says good things about a defensive player, he usually delivers.

8-4 IF (A big IF) we're lucky ~ 7-5 or 6-6 is not out of the realm of possibility. Gonna be a long frustrating season.

and that Miles won't make a change at OC/his control over the offense, what do we have?

Are there really folks still out there who believe making a change at OC would matter?

We have a brutal schedule next year and I think it's realistic to say our defense will not be as good either

Schedule and inexperience make 9-3 a good possibility. But each year brings surprises, and all we can do is hope for the best.

Chavis also guaranteed that Mingo would be the best pass rusher in the SEC. And he played Karnell Hatcher over Minter for 90% of last year.

Wait, there's folks out there who believe canning our shitty OC and hiring a GOOD OC wouldn't make a difference?

And he's been a freak, just hasn't finished.

This is completely false.

Just quit for the day Maximus. Seriously, attacking Chavis?

Well, I know canning a shitty Oline coach would help. Just about every lineman under Stud has regressed since he has been here. I mean, the guy has been here 6 years and nobody comes calling for a job somewhere else? That's all you need to know there. Low demand coach means he's not a good coach.

Alternating Bowl trips between Atlanta Chicken Bowl and Nasville Music city Bowl. Consistent 3 - 4 conference losses per year. Unwatchable games, half empty Tiger Stadium by 3rd quarter.
