I don't know blues. I think we need to wait until the combine. I really think Mingo, Jordan and Hunts numbers may push them way up the board and let Moore (possibly) or Werner (not as likely) fall to us.

Especially since some are still playing in games and we've seen bad bowl games move people up and down in a draft.

As much as I like Mingo as a College player, He is to lite for NFL D line. Not sure where you picture him playing in the Pro's.

Is there any talk of where Montgomery may go?

As said, there will be another 7 that will be added before the Saints pick. After bowl games, all star games, and combine we'll likely have another 3-5 that we feel pretty sure will be gone. This is just a reference point to me of who we don't need to even waste conversation or threads about.

Geno Smith is nothing of a Saints possibility but he will take up one of the 14 spots before them. Everyone should be pulling for Barkley to shine and boost his draft stock. Keenan Allen seems to be the consensus top WR pick in that next tier. There's another to hope he blows teams away and take one of those 14 spots before the Saints. Understanding all the picks before the Saints will give a lot of insight into who could be the selection.

At #15 I'm willing to say by draft day we can have the Saints pick narrowed to 2-3 players just depending on how the picks fall. It's very similar to 2009 picking at #14. By that draft day I was 90% sure it would be Jenkins or Brian Cushing.

My excitement is that I think the addition of two impact playmakers, one decent but not bank busting free agent and a #15 draft pick would be enough to catapult the defense from historic horribleness to not so terrible. Just an average defense coupled with our prolific offense (Payton led) will strike a lot of fear into opponents seeing Saints on their '13 schedule.
