Lovie is a good coach, but I think Emery is correct with being progressive and decisive. We need a guru to take this offense into the 21st century. The O-line may take time to fix, but we also need a TE and vertical WR threat among other needs.

knox could still be that vert WR threat, depending on his rehab i guess. TE could be fixed pretty easy, and it wouldnt cost much to upgrade from whats on the roster. anything is better than davis.
the D is about to be a fustercluck. with lovie gone, its pretty safe to assume Urlacher will be getting a low ball offer and split. I wouldnt be surprised if they try to deal Briggs for some picks.
id just hate to see a new coach come in without any other drastic moves. i dont think they fire lovie if they feel theyre a player or two away from SB contention. ive been behind everything emery has done so far, including this past draft, so i guess ill just have to be along for the ride. but next year looks much less promising that it did yesterday.
