James Loney will never be good
Kinda the point of the thread... I don't know anyone who expected Dickey to have the year he had.
Aren't all yankees potential all stars...
Homer Bailey is a good one.

Well Dickey has been good the past 3 years. He had at least shown something.
Loney has never shown glimpses of power nah mean?

Hughes last year posted a 7.8k/9 (improved from 5.8k/9)and a 2.2W/9 (improved from 3.3w/9) what did him in was 35 home runs allowed. He still won 16 games for the Yankees, if he cuts his home runs by say 10 he probably has 3 more wins and under a 4.00 ERA on year.
Nova improved his strike out rate from 5.3k/9 to 8.1k/9 and lowered his walk per 9 from 3.1 to 3.0. He allowed 28 home runs on season and allowed 10 hits per 9 as opposed to 8 the previous season.
