I just ordered a TISAS 1911-A1 (Turkish made) from Bud's for $399. I've always liked the 1911 and am on a tight budget (baby on the way). Based on the reviews it looks like a solid buy for under $400 and since this will be my first non .22LR gun of any kind there was no need for anything fancy. I'll update when I pick it up.

I like what that has to say. The cold hammer forged barrel is a nice feature.
