Disagree with him or not he may have a point- to what degree, who knows.
Some kids do go to universities because of the way they present themselves with their logos and gear- look at oregon's entire glitz and glamour scheme. However, kids don't necessarily play that in a negative role towards their considerations. Why? Because as previously mentioned there is alternative gear that is available, hence why you see most athletes sporting gear with the eye
