Fishing trip suggestions

I plan on taking my son on a 3 ,4 day fishing trip in May was thinking of Boca for salt water are something fresh water. Just looking for any ideas on a special trip anyone has taken . He is 17 and loves both fresh and salt water

Saltwater in those type places offer a great variety on species and techniques to catch them. Freshwater your best bet is Lake Falcon or Amistad . Hope for some good weather should be post spawn deep water fishing, with the right guide y'all should both catch your PB bass easily.

i honestly would mark freshwater off the list. I love freshwater fishing as much as the next guy but guided saltwater trips cant be beat.

Just got back from Falcon. I would hold off on that lake until February. Fishing has been really slow the last few months there.
I will be on Amistad in a couple weeks. Let you know how the fishing is there but I haven't been in a couple weeks
