In the sequence of shooting, it's just one less variable. Less variability...better shooting IMO.
So, yes, I think the auto is better. You don't risk short shuckin it and your muzzle jump from recoil is the only thing keeping you from getting back on target...

They had a badass Maxus 75th anniversary at the DU banquet a few weeks ago. Fella at the table next to me got it for $1600 I believe.
