I honestly believe it has a lot to do with facebook. I noticed this phenomenon within my own circle of friends that did not hunt or fish in the past. Now they go hunt on guided trips and buy $30,000 boats and don't know wtf they are doing. Which is fine .... but price moves with demand and this is quickly becoming a pissing contest with pictures all over my newsfeed.
