Will Mosley's return for his Sr. year effect Minter's decision.

Mosley (Ala.),was rated ahead of Minter in the draft ratings I have seen. Te'o was first Mosley second and Minter third at Middle LB.
Now Minter moves to 2nd. However, if Minter turns pro he will run a much better time then Te'o IMHO.
Minter actually has more tackles for loss then Te'o. Minter 6"2 240 , Te'o 6"2 250.
Will this effect Minter's Decision?

No because he wasn't coming back anyway. But this only makes his decision easier. He's not coming back. He's a top 5 MLB on every mock draft and he already graduated. I'd be shocked if he came back.
LSU will be breaking in several new starters next year on defense too. He has no reason to stay and take a risk at injury or "improving" an already high stock. Breaking in new starters can hurt his production. If he's not really that tall, he's not going to improve what stock he has anyway because they'll always question his size.

Only thing I'm going to say is that I think we will have a few surprises that stay.

Hope in one hand...

Logan staying would be great! Minters Backup (Fiest?)played alot and is a great player he was an early enrollee last year. He'll be an experienced sophomore.
Hunter, Johnson, Logan, and Rasco on Dline.
Kwon, feist, Barrow LBs
Simon? or Jalen Collins Jalen mills CBs
Martin, Loston Safties

No way is he a starter. He's been passed by Kwon, Debo, and Louis.

No. He played very little. He will be a great player one day, but it won't be easy to take over for Minter. Plus this is his first year at MLB
The defense needs Minter and Logan to come back most of all.

Feist hardly played and didn't do much when he did. wouldn't be surprised to see Barrow get a shot at Mike and Kwon and Debo man the outside spots.

as far as the OP
I'd love to know where you saw Mosley listed at MLB, since he's an OLB and all.

Al plays a 3-4. There is no middle linebacker position Mosley is projected as a middle linebacker in the nfl. He did play on the inside he had 99 tackles this season.

I was about to say, i could see Barrow manning the middle with Kwon and the 2 Joneses competing for time at OLB. Im sure Louis and Feist will see time too.

I'm hoping minter stays. He's a cornerstone player for our defense

Is Mosley really that low on the board to return for his senior year after winning 2 NC's or is the REC money just that good? Because this defies explanation unless he was graded out in the 3rd round.

would be HUGE if minter stays...
we'd become LB-U!
think about it, if tahj jones comes back, we would have 6 LBS that have started SEC games before!

Mosley and Minter fricking each other? What does Mosley have to do with Minter? Only one middle lb is drafted per round?

Minter is gone. Get over it.

tahj jones will take over the middle spot and we arent going to miss a beat.
