Nap's better. And not a jackass. But, Napoli's gone and this is a pretty good replacement as Plan B's go. One year deal, no commitment... this is a signing the Rangers had to make.

Now they have to get Ross or Swisher. Well, not have to. But really want to. If they lose Hamilton and Napoli and replace them with Swisher and AJ, that would be acceptable. Not as good as getting Upton. Or signing Sanchez or Greinke for the rotation. But not nothing. It would mitigate their losses a tad.
