“I would have to guess that we would continue on the path that we’re headed, and that offensively, we would maybe be as talented as we have been with some of the newcomers that will be here even in January,” Miles said after practice Tuesday night. “It will be a nice kind of pick-me-up on the team.”
Miles said "would maybe be AS talented" ... That is not a promise of improvement but that we might meet the status quo.
"As we have been" what are we comparing next year's possibilities to? We will never know. Who ever knows what lies in the heart and mind of Les Miles?
I will just be excited when the spring game rolls around and we kick off against TCU. No matter what, they are the Tigers and they are worthy of my support.

That article makes me laugh.
Anything miles says about the offense should be ignored.
Anything you hear about an Lsu qb at the manning academy should be ignored.
Same bad offense year after year and qb after qb. Rinse and repeat until miles hires an actual oc.
MF this.

"Best o-line I ever had" =huge failure
Best offense ever expecting in 2013= kiss of death
Best offense ever expecting in 2013= kiss of death

Translation: Expect more of the same. Expect no real changes. That is all. Resistance is futile.

You really think our offense didn't open up from last year?
Yes, it did open up. People confuse "opening" up with execution. Early on when Mett threw nice very catchable passes that were dropped we went to the run and people bitched, but in reality it was about maintaining possessions because we were still playing for something.
The Clemson game was moreabout offensive exploration. The game really didn't mean much beyond additional practices and one more game for the coaches and players. Coaches used that game for next season. 11-2 or 10-3 was really insignificant at that point. and no--it won't effect recruiting. Kids who play know losses occur--only immature pusses continue to whine about crap weeks after the fact instead of moving on with their life.

Sadly, our great talent goes to waste with Miles. Kinda like have a Porsche Twin Turbo on the streets of Bangkok...

Yeah, just wanted to get in as few reps as possible.

If defense drops off then offense will have up pick it up.
