God thats an awful list
99 FSU
01 Miami
04 USC
Shouldn't even be in the top 25 offenses
I wouldn't go that far but you're right about those three offenses being way over-ranked especially '01 Miami. '01 Miami's offense wasn't that potent. There were a number of games when they went through extended offensive droughts especially in the second half i.e. the Boston College and Virginia Tech games. Also, a lot of their opponents were weak Big East teams and their defenses created an unbelievable amount of turnovers which put their offense in prime position to score a ton of times. '04 USC wasn't that great an offensive juggernaut outside of the Oklahoma game. They only put up 24 against Virginia Tech and 21 against Cal, the only other good teams they faced that year. I actually thought their defense was a better unit than their offense. And Florida State's offensive stats are skewed based on playing an easy as pie ACC schedule.
