His 15-17 record is the best thing about his legacy there. As I said earlier, his entire coaching strategy and the way he conducted himself and the anemic team he assembled is why he sucked so bad.

He must have done something right as they went from 20th to 15th to 5th in defense from season before he got there to leaving. They fell back to 30th the season he left....
He didn't handle the players right but the Dolphins did improve from that last season of Dave to Sabans first season. He realized he wasn't ready and went back to his best opportunity.
