Small roll pin punch set, pliers, tape, razor knife for detents patience and a low temper 
. You can set the pins with the punches, and tape the jaws of the pliers along with the bolt catch area of the lower.
ETA: I think ARFCOM has a layout of tools, kit parts, and instructions. I watched a youtube video as I put mine together.

I use a pair of pliars that are taped up at the ends for roll pins and a razor blade to get front detent in.
Punches don't hurt but aren't necessary.
