Any BCG sightings? That's all I need now for my first build and I have pretty much no faith ill find one

The vortex strikefire is a high end budget optic. That's about $150 used. So the rifle is a little over a grand. For a reference point, that is about what I paid for the BCM that is my #1 go-to rifle. Of course, I had to put a hand guard, optics and accessories on it, so I am in neck deep at this point, but $1000 -$1100 used to be a good starting point on a rifle that you can trust with your life and pass on to your son one day. Can you toss out some specs on it? I have no first hand experience with SI or Delton, only word of mouth. Materials are as important as brand. For starters, tell me what you know about the barrel and BCG.
Prices are so out of whack, that even with specs, it's hard to tell what's a deal any more. I just sold an $1100 rifle for $2300 and could've gotten more if I had been even a little patient.
If supply catches up with demand and this blazing panic cools a little, everyone that bought a rifle during this shitstorm is going have regrets.
I had a feeling a couple years ago and did a few years worth of buying, so I am in a position to profit off of this situation. My advice is to be very careful what you buy right now and don't get something that isn't what you want just to say you got one (lots of people are doing this). Do you know what you want or what you want the rifle to be able to do?
