Finally got all my parts in and am ready to start. Anybody in the Ascension/Baton Rouge area have knowledge on these and some free time to help a brotha out?
I"m going off the links in the OP, but I would like some assistance if anyone is interested.
I have detailed instructions from start to finish if you want other than that there are plenty of youtube vids

Post them if you don't mind. I don't have the tools necessary, which is the main reason I'm looking for help.

Assembling the Lower Receiver
Installing the magazine catch. Tools needed to perform
this operation: lower receiver vise block.
1. Tighten the lower receiver vise block into the vise and place the lower receiver onto it through the magazine well.
2. Place the magazine catch into the receiver from the left-hand side of the rifle.
3. Insert the magazine catch spring, followed by the magazine release button, into the right-hand side.
4. Press the magazine button all the way in while controlling the magazine catch with your other hand. The magazine catch will be pushed back out of the receiver, which will allow it to turn.
5. Rotate the catch clockwise to thread it into the back of the magazine release button.
6. Use the back of a punch to push the magazine release button in until it’s below the surface of the receiver. Continue rotating the magazine catch until the threaded shaft is even with, or just below, the surface of the button. Line up the magazine catch with the slot in the receiver and release the button.
7. Test the catch by pressing the release button—it should move without resistance and be prevented from rotating by the oblong hole on the right-hand side of the receiver. If the button rotates and catches, or the bottom of it is above the side of the receiver, you’ll need to turn down the magazine catch one more rotation to draw these parts closer together.

Installing the trigger group. Tools needed for this operation:
bench vise, lower receiver vise block, nylon/brass
hammer, and a 3/32-inch roll pin punch or a .151-inch
diameter alignment and push punch. If installing an aftermarket
or nonstandard trigger group, be sure you read and
understand the directions provided and test the trigger group
according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
1. Install the receiver onto the vise block and rotate it to clearly see down into the lower receiver.
2. Place the trigger spring under the trigger with the solid loop of the spring under the front of the trigger, and pull the loops over the trigger pin extensions (Figure 22).
3. Place the disconnector spring into the hole provided in the top of the trigger with the flared end of the disconnector spring first, followed by the disconnector. The hook of the disconnector should be facing forward, and the hole in the disconnector should line up with the hole in the trigger.
4. Place the trigger with disconnector installed into the lower receiver. You’ll have to align the trigger pin with the trigger and disconnector holes to allow the trigger pin to pass all the way through. You can maintain alignment of the trigger and disconnector with your punch while pushing in the trigger pin flush with the receiver.
5. Install the hammer spring onto the hammer. The closed loop will rest against the back of the hammer and pull the loops of the hammer spring over the hammer pivot points.
6. Place the hammer into the receiver with the tails of the hammer spring resting on top of the trigger pin. Push the hammer down until the hammer pin holes align with the holes in the receiver. Use a punch to hold the hammer in place.
7. Push the hammer pin in until it’s secured by the J-spring in the hammer. Lightly tap the pin with the nylon tipped hammer to fully seat the pin into the receiver. Be sure the pin is properly aligned with the holes in the receiver.

Installing the trigger guard. Tools needed for this operation:
rifle bench block, front sight bench block, ball-peen hammer, and 1/8-inch roll pin holder and punch.
Note: It’s very important to support the left-side trigger guard pin extension. Driving the trigger guard pin in without support can break the extension and ruin the lower receiver.
1. Place the lower receiver on the bench block with the right side facing up. Use the front sight bench block or some other solid block to support the left side trigger guard pin extension.
2. Place the trigger guard in between the holes in front of the pistol grip with the trigger guard detent toward the front of the rifle and facing the right.
3. Depress the detent to lock the front of the trigger guard into the receiver.
4. Drive in the trigger guard roll pin using the roll pin holder, then finish the installation with the roll pin punch. The trigger guard roll pin should be driven in so that it’s even
with both sides of the receiver.
5. The trigger guard should open and close by pressing the plunger on the right-hand side of the rifle.

Assembling the Mil-Spec telescoping butt stock. Tools needed for this operation: lower receiver vise block, a butt stock tool or combination tool, a prick punch, and a small ball-peen hammer.
1. Place lower receiver vise block in the vise and mount the lower receiver.
2. Thread the receiver extension nut onto the receiver extension with the cuts in the nut facing to the rear.
3. Place the receiver end plate on the receiver extension with the dimple facing forward.
4. Start threading the receiver extension tube into the back of the receiver, but stop just before the threaded portion of the tube covers up the buffer retainer hole.
5. Insert the buffer retainer spring and the buffer retainer into the hole and hold it down with your thumb.
6. Screw in the receiver extension until it captures the buffer retainer on its shoulder.
7. Insert the takedown pin into the receiver from the righthand side with the cut in the pin facing toward the rear of the rifle.
8. Insert the takedown pin detent first with the rounded end facing forward, then the detent spring into the port on the back of the receiver. The spring should stick out about 1/2 inch.
9. Align the dimple of the end plate with the hole in the back of the receiver. To do this, you may have to turn the receiver extension a bit. The extension plate aligns the extension tube with the receiver and captures the take-down detent spring and plunger.
10. Once everything is aligned, push down on the end plate, making sure you don’t kink the takedown pin spring, and hand-tighten the extension nut against the end plate.
11. Using your butt stock tool, tighten the nut down until it’s snug; the proper torque is 40 inch-pounds.
12. Use your prick punch to stake your end plate in two areas, slightly swaging material into the lock nut to keep it from loosening. Some lock nuts have recessed areas for these staking positions.
13. Insert your action spring and buffer assembly into the receiver extension. It’ll be captured by the buffer retainer.
14. Next install the butt stock onto the lower receiver extension by pulling straight down on the release lever so the lock pin completely clears the inside of the butt stock.
Slide the butt stock onto the receiver extension.
15. Test your telescoping butt stock by gripping the release lever to slide it back and forth (Figure 26). The butt stock should slide with little resistance and have a positive stop at each detent.
1. Place lower receiver vise block in the vise and mount the lower receiver.
2. Thread the receiver extension nut onto the receiver extension with the cuts in the nut facing to the rear.
3. Place the receiver end plate on the receiver extension with the dimple facing forward.

I got the first couple steps knocked out with relative ease.
Installing the pivot pin is where I'm stuck. I got the spring in and pushed the detent down. It stayed down. Won't come out. Tried to push it in further to give more energy to the spring and it depressed even further. Sprayed some lubricant down in the hole and hopefully it'll spring out eventually. Tried tapping on the side (and bangin on the side). Can't get anything to work.

Which pivot pin?
Posted on 5/7/13 at 7:38 pm to brass2mouth
The one on the lower. Going off the link in the first page, it's the third step.
Posted on 5/7/13 at 7:51 pm to Slickback
I meant which one, front or rear.
Did you use the right takedown pin? Should be the one shaped like a D on the head for the front.

The roll pin is not stuck. It's the detent that holds the (front) roll pin in place. It's stuck in a depressed position, inside the lower.
