Yeah, the only difference between the 2 is the barrel and gas system.
Thanks. The Colt I'm getting is a .223/5.56, I just got a MP15-22, so I'm thinking of doing a .300 blackout build this summer with a stripped lower I have on the way.

That's one of the few things that doesn't tempt me. Not sure why, but it just doesn't

Btw, how often do you have to clean the gun (clean/lube the BCG, etc.)

Im pretty obsessive compulsive about things like guns and trucks, so i clean and lube em up good after every use. The first couple hundred rounds or so you put through it, make sure the bolt carrier group and its parts are all real nice and oiled up.

how long of a wait did you have for that wilson combat upper?
why you didn't get the fluted barreL?

So I should completely remove the upper and take out the BCG after every use, clean the shite out of the BCG and the barrel? Any other parts that need to be cleaned well?
I read that cleaning a BCM BCG takes a good bit of work.

because it's bad arse, even if it does jam every time you use it.

I dont see how cleaning it would be different from any other bcg. As far as field stripping it and giving it a good scrubbing, its extremely simple. I clean mine after every use because I'm a nazi about keeping them immaculate. As far as if thats necessary, I would say alot of it has to do with what ammo you are putting through it. Sometimes I'll shoot 100 rounds and any residue is barely noticeable. But some ammo will leave the action absolutely filthy. Just search youtube on field stripping an AR bcg. Sadly, the cheaper than dirt one is probably the best one, but I wouldnt give those cocksuckers the pleasure of adding to their view count. There are others, they are just a bit more drawn out.

Do a youtube search for FireClean. I'll be switching to this very soon.
And you don't want that Beta mag, they're junk.

If you got that BCM bcg, I would get that upper if you could afford it. You can find charging handles anywhere.
