Baton Rouge produces players more than teams. Catholic has a good quarterfinal type program most years. Zachary, Central, Scotlandville and Denham have good programs, but usually you can count on them being done by Thanksgiving. And don't get me started on Dutchtown. And, if not for Lutcher being in the district, this would probably be the weakest 4A district in the state. Maybe Plaquemine will improve it, but EBR is so anti-athletics with their higher academic requirements and coaching staff limits, they may never win another state title from the public schools here. Maybe Zachary and Central or if Woodlawn breaks off into an ISD
Uh, Parkview Baptist says hey. The only football powerhouse in Baton Rouge.

Parkview is legit. But you've got the state's second largest metro and it can't compete for titles in either of the two biggest enrollment classes. Lafayette has a 5A team in the state finals pretty much every year (including Barbe and Sulphur out of that district). So Lafayette>EBR
