Dave Cameron was on MLB NEtwork talking about it some.
I wish I could find video of him talking about it, but it was interesting. I think he alluded to different aspects of the park being troubling for Hamilton, not just the distance of the fences.

I know the warm air helps the ball travel but its not like LA doesn't get hot. Maybe there is some winds blowing in because its by the coast?

Thats what I'm thinking.
I don't think it's as comparable if all his homers would have cleared their park or not.. to the fact that:
at texas = homer every 15 ABs
at angels = homer ever 30 ABs (this is his most played in park outside of texas last season)
Didn't Pujols himself take forever to start hitting homers there as well?
