I think he was joking just a little bit. Maybe wishful thinking.

You don't think with some of those top recruiting classes they have had over the last 3 years that there might be a few guys who can step up

A top recruiting class that they had 3 years ago has probably pretty much all moved on to the NFL at Bama. Yes, Bama will be good, but they are losing A LOT. I think that was his only point.

Point taken, but they return their Sr. QB and are playing a fluff schedule. Bama couldn't lose three games next year if they spotted everyone 10 points per game.

Sure, replacing 3 starters on the oline is easy.

Bama will not be as good next year. Even with the schedule.

Bama was very dominant this year, but so were we in 2011 and we had a ton of close games this year. Make no mistake, they are losing a ton on thier OL and that talent is going to be tough to replace. Those guys are NFl ready players right now. The guys behind them are not. They will be good, but there will be a drop off when you lose that many guys that are NFL ready. They also might lose Lacy. Between losing Lacy and their OL, the running game could potentially take a step back, which would make McCarron less effective. They are also losing some of their already secondary that was questionable this year as it was. They were exposed big time against LSU and A&M.

I don't think they will lose 3 games more than likely, but LSU and A&M will give them all they can handle just like they did this year and I don't think Ole Miss is just going to be a complete push over next year either.

What if Mccarron goes down? They gonna go from a pro style to the read option over night?

Injuries, suspensions, among other things happen to great teams.

People are picking them to win it all again and I aint buyin it.
