If it is in the southeast zone then don't go expecting much. The deer aren't near as plentiful as they are in the rest of the state.

yes you can always still hunt during dog season

we are primitive til the 14th then back to gun

You can gun hunt in MS from Nov. 17 - Jan 31 without dogs. There are certain times within those dates where dog hunting is allowed. The "without dogs" season is not longer than the "with dogs" season.
