OMG, we can do brass and our logo would be the word brass with a basketball and trumpet, it'd be so kewl.

Again the reason we can't use the BRASS was explained.
When NOLA got a turnover...the announcer would say "BRASS BALL" sounds too close to "Brass Balls" So that killed it.
I don't mind Pelican. I kinda liked "Steamboats" and could have a steamboat horn during the game.
Plus Pelican is wayyyy better than a Nugget. Who the hell wants to be a Nugget??
