It was meh.
Does anyone remember the recut version of the second fight that some fan did where Joker blasted the wall and killed Bane to save Batman?
I just remembered it and can't find it for the life of me!

I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate the background actors fighting. They're so blatantly fake and missing punches, knees, and overacting going on ALL in the focus of the camera. It's so annoying and I can't take this movie as serious because of it...
You see people tilting their heads back and forth as if punches were thrown but they're just off...

Didn't notice that in theaters but yes it's awful.

You son of a bitch. That scene is forever ruined for me now.

It's not just that scene -- it's from the moment the police riot against Bane & co. I tried not to notice it my second time watching, but it's IN-YOUR-FACE retarded.
As soon as the two groups collide, the missed punches and premature flinches begin!

Nothing can out do the way the extras in Enter the Dragon mailed it in.
A lot was cut out, but if you see the unedited movie, it is some of the worst background fighting I have ever seen.

The Collegehumor skits nearly ruined Batman for me.

Background fighting is always abysmal. This movie is not alone in this.

Background fighting has always sucked. You see this in practically every movie. The two principles will always look better because their moves are choreographed and their pulled punches are masked by camera angles and quick editing. It's virtually impossible to choreograph the fight scenes of hundreds of extras and make them look good in post-production.

I dont think it looks that bad. The scene is still awesome. I didnt notice it either til you guys mentioned it.

How do you not get bothered by people overacting while in focus of the camera? Heads falling back before punches were thrown, punches missing by at least a foot, slow punches and slow knees to the stomach and the 'victim' moves just as slow...
I try so hard to concentrate on just Bane and Batman, but it's bad. Stfu kthxbai

As I stated above, this is the risk you run by using live action stuntmen rather than CGI effects. It's easier to make the Batman-Bane fight look more realistic because they are the center of attention. They can use choreography, multiple camera angles, and quick editing to mask the pulled punches and everything. You can't do that with the background fighters.

Yep.
You really don't notice it or pay attention to it until some dude makes an issue of it. The premise is implied there for me. Never mind how it was acted out.

Overthinking = paying attention to anything else happening on the screen now.
Got it, just glad I can clear up my definitions.

I refuse to watch the video and hope I forget this detail before the next time I watch.

when the mercs are repelling from the plane in the begining of the movie, there is a shot from the side front of the plane looking back at the mercs and it looks like a bunch of dumbies hanging instead of real people. damn high-definition
