I think we're getting both Mitchell and Khan.
Basis for that thought process?

I was never a Star Trek fan, not of the shows or the old movies. But I have seen the reboot on FX several times, as it draws me in every time I'm flipping through the channels.
I have always enjoyed the shows and the movies. I was nervous about the reboot but really enjoyed it for what it was.
It almost pisses me off that non Star Trek fans are liking these movies. I don't know why.

Karl Urban mistakingly spilled the beans back in August that it was Gary Mitchell. That would also fit in the motiff that seemed to show Kirk wearing an instructors suit in the trailer because in TOS he meets Mitchell while being an instructor at the Academy.
It could all be a red herring thrown out by Abrams but I don't think he would have cast a Brit to play Khan.
With that bit of Trek knowledge, I will now assert that I am not a virgin and have seen several women naked in real life.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Technically its not a spoiler because it already happened, so here goes. In the original series, Gary Mitchell was a student of Kirk's when he was student teaching as a young lieutenant. They were friends so when Kirk got his first command he requested Mitchell as his helm officer. On a mission at the Galactic Barrier, Mitchell gets popped with cosmic wackiness and develops crazy powers. Kirk senses that he is a threat to the ship and abandons him on some planet. He ultimately has to go back and kill him.
Now seriously, I swear I have touched naked women.
