First off this thread is full of more fail than your average rant thread.
For those that think the lake sucks PLEASE keep thinking that way. Hope they NEVER advertise fishing in the lake it's bad enough now.
The only thing I think is wrong is where I believe Meaux said the lake area is superior to Venice. I have to disagree there. However it's a great area, bass, bream, sac-a-lait, trout, reds, etc... tarpon
But yeah it sucks should be a freshwater lake

Drove the Causeway last Saturday and there were no less than 10 boats between each crossover. I counted 17 from the drawbridge to the next northbound crossover
