That pretty much shows their shortsightedness right there. They should have planning for a contingency no matter what.

Van de Velde told Tim Brando today that the Liberty Bowl told him and WAC commissioner that they were going to take Tech "no matter what."
The I Bowl was the contingency, but it was too late... they had moved on.
