Anybody bought a new jeep wrangler recently? (nsfw incentive inside)

Im looking at some used 2012 jeeps and I'm reading all these truck threads about the rebates and what not, so I'm wondering if anyone has gotten a good deal on a new wrangler.
I'm weighing my options if i need to search for a good used 2012 or see if the dealer can give me a "too good to pass up" deal on a 2012.
Any help would be appreciated...

Me and my husband just bought a 2013 Jeep wrangler unlimited Rubicon. He wanted a 2012 thinking he could get a deal....they didn't even have any 2012s of what he wanted. He wanted a manual and he had a hard time even finding a 2013 with a manual. Good luck!

did they offer any incentives besides what is on the website? Cash off sticker?

Negative. No incentives on Jeep wranglers right now. Sales guy said they don't need to, they are selling just fine wihtout them. They actually never came off the sticker price on the Jeep...instead just kept adding more and more to his trade in.
Remember Wranglers typically have a high resale value as well so a 2012 isn't gonna be THAT much cheaper than a 2013.

That's exactly why i was asking. the used ones are barely cheaper than a new one.
I'll just keep my eye out for a great deal and be patient. unless they offer me a ridiculous amount on my trade in.

hard to find deals as they sell like crazy. more so on models with the new engine. you would have better luck on a deal with the old engine, but stay away from 07 to first half 08's.
Do you plan on doing anything to it? if so you might have better luck buying from someone, not a dealer on a jeep forum. lots of great deals to be had.

i really like the new motor, thats why im trying to find a 2012. It will be my daily driver but i do go off road every now and then for work and play.

My husband loves his. He had a 08 base line Wrangler before. He says the engine is def a much smoother ride. New one has a hard top and the ride is def smoother than his old jeep. The seats are more comfortable as well.
