Well, it's this simple. La Tech had been penciled into the Indy Bowl for weeks now and you heard nothing from them about not wanting to go. As soon as ULM is invited, they are suddenly too good to go to that bowl. Call it like it is. They don't want to play ULM for whatever reason. ULM people know. They have been dealing with Tech for years. Tech people know. They would never admit they don't want to play ULM. But it doesn't matter. Move on. I'm sure the dogs will love traveling to whereever.

ULM hasnt beaten tech since 1988 unless you count the forfeit in 1989. Ulm is going to its first bowl this year congratulations.

Tech playing a school from a conference rated higher than the sun belt makes sense.

Isn't tulane and ull state schools close to lsu. Why doesn't lsu play tulane (2007), tech (2009, 20??), ull (2009 or 2010), ulm (??????).
Instead lsu plays northwestern state, furman, towson, unt, idaho, wku, and others. Keep the competition in state and the $$$$ in state.
