My understanding was that he agreed to the 2 year sentence (sexual battery I think?) to avoid a sexual assault conviction that would have gotten him 10 years and sex offender registration.

It was probably a good outcome for him because he likely serves less than a year.

Plus, the guy is a complete douche. He was interviewed by ESPN a while back and didn't even see fit to offer up an apology. He tried to come off as a victim.

To those who think this is too light of a sentence, let me ask this question to you and see if it changes how you view this man.

You see a drunk, passed out man in a restaurant. Minding his own business, defenseless.

What should you do with him?

For about 99.9 percent of us, the answer is "nothing." Ignore him, move on. Some might even check on him just to see if he's okay. Because you're very nice people.

That would be a normal response.

This man's response was, "Oh, I know... let me take off my pants and rub my testicles on his face."

That is not a normal response.

If you side with the man who rubs his genitalia on the face of other men... total strangers, even... IN PUBLIC... then you are not normal, either.
