I'm not expecting much. Attempting to make a trilogy out of such a small book is giving me doubts.
I couldn't have said it better.
The book is great but they could really lose public interest in making a trilogy out of a small book.

Ha this is funny I just started re-reading it earlier today! Can't wait for the movie.

I think I am going to wait and reread it after I see the movie. Go in with a fresh outlook, then probably later.

I'm charging my Nook up as we speak. I might downlaod the audio book before I leave to Shreveport on Sunday. If I started to read it, I'm sure i could knock it out in a couple hours.

I wish my parents had read books like that to me as a kid I only got the pop up books and stuff. I am definitely reading The Hobbit and LoTR to my kids some day.

They aren't making 3 movies with just the Hobbit book.
If anything it will only lead to more excitement from the public for another movie and something to wait for.

Just bought it and downloading it to my Nook when I get home. I had read LOTR but for whatever reason just never read The Hobbit.

That guy is a prick. He keeps trying to act cool by making stuff up about LOTR and the Hobbit. He can't get passed the fact that it is one of the best books written.

Anyone hobbit hating needs to be killed in the face. Twice.
