I actually despise the term "classic rock". Absolutely hate it. It's such a give up. It's like saying "I only like music that's already been codified by other people as being good."
I like rock n roll. Doesn't matter from when. I love Buddy Holly, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, the Pixies, and Pavement. There is no classic rock. Just rock.

i feel you. "classic rock" radio stations are typically awful.

eh, i consider classic rock music from the 60's/70's. which happens to be the music I grew up with. I'm sure others have other definitions.but, that's basically what it means to me. And it will ALWAYS be my favorite.

This is why my thread for Top 10 Favorite Rock Bands is just that...for ALL rock, not any one particular flavor variety.
