The longer you get away from the end of the season the less scouts give a shite about college production

Right now I'd say:

Best available DE/OT for our first/second
Any kind of CB/S help with our second/third

disagree, tape is always important. What I think happens more is that the players out of the BCS start getting a lot more attention cuz of the combine or head to head matchups in the all star games. That's where Akiem Hicks made his way onto the radar last year.

Some front offices certainly fall in love with players more from post season & combine performances. Those teams usually seem to have more misses than hits however.

As mentioned, think of the LSU-TxAM tape. You had 1st Rders matching up at both OT-DE spots. Very substantial sample to gauge from.
