Here's a graphic describing what exactly is legal and what isn't. Looks like Kuchar can keep his stroke. I also find it interesting that apparently the PGA Tour policy board sets its own rules, so technically, they could vote not to adapt this rule for regular Tour events. The ban would still be in effect for all majors, but I'd find that pretty funny if the Tour did that.

Very interdasting
ETA: Kinda funny that 8 of the top 10 players in the world use traditional putters.
Bradley, Scott, Simpson, etc. are not going to be happy.
