Not really, sounds like she's just trying to say not to give up on it early.
A lot of people these days ride something off early with ease. 2 episodes "oh this sucks I'm done" which is fricking retarded.
Take Parks and Rec for example, pretty shitty first season, lot of people stopped watching, then were like holy shite this show is awesome, 2 years later. Especially on this board.

Will the Cory/Topanga child be lured into the community of the Centre? Will there be a Griff equivalent? Will the child fall in love with someone based on the contents of a bag? Most importantly, will we get some much needed Feeny screen time?

I think she just meant; don't tune into the first episode expecting it to be Boy Meets World 2, and when it isn't lose interest.
