They have been running deer in our area of Mississippi ever since the first deer was spotted, about 80 years ago. The deer haven't left yet. All this bitching about dogs ruining deer hunting is stupid and pointless. Coyotes run deer all year long, but deer keep hangning around. I would personally be happiest if everyone traded in their food plots, corn, tree stands and camouflage for a shotgun and a pair of running walkers.

How often do you see deer that aren't going 90 to nothing? Have you ever tried to stand or stalk hunt when dogs are being run? Have you ever done so, when neighboring hunting clubs had dogs run under your stand?
