I fully agree with your sentiments but I don't think your examples fit your argument:
- the '07 games we lost weren't due to O. We scored 27 vs UK and 28 vs Arky in regulation. That should've been enough.
- We scored 41 on OM this year. How many do we have to score?

Ever since '08 Les has taken a very conservative tack to O, i.e., don't turn the ball over and give the opponent an easy score. For the most part we've done just that. And for the most part we've been successful.

What is happening is that there are a couple of teams on our schedule every year (Bama and UF for now) that we are handcuffing ourselves with no value added and even to our detriment.

IMO, if Les continues down this path we'll continue to lose a game or two every year that we could so easily have won and along the way miss out on some championships.
