re: My dog has a huge abcess thingy on her neck under the skin

Had a boxer 4-1/2 yrs old that overnight had a lump like that come up. Turned out to be a tumor. Lymphoma something or other. Put her on steriods for about a month and a half, until she couldn't eat anymore and had to put her down. Take her to the vet, it won't cost much to find out if it's something serious.

Is it near its gland(s) under its jaws?
