Possible reason why the defense has struggled.

I know a common term in the NFL is hitting the " rookie wall" . Can this not be applied to college football as well? The back two levels of our defense is littered with freshman and first year players. The grind may just be getting to these guys. Still, have to be proud of these guys ( 18 & 19 yr old men) for not only surviving, but excelling in the best conference in football.

But it's been the DL that has regressed the most. The line with future #1 picks all about.

I thought the freshmen played really well. Collins got beat on one TD, but he was in position, just didn't get his head turned in time. It was the line that was terrible, yesterday. No pressure, and thank God they decided to stick to the passing game...thank you JL Smith..

They take after their fans. Their fans (home games) suck arse. The players reflect that.
