I'm not convinced that Gruden would translate well to the college game, but if UT wants to hire him and pay him a fortune for the experiment, I'm OK with it..

These sound like a lot of the arguments used to justify Mike Sherman's hiring. Not saying that Gruden isn't cooler to the recruits, just the same arguments.
I don't understand why I haven't heard Mike Gundy's name thrown around more. He would be perfect for Tennessee as I don't even think he has a ballboy on his team from within 300mi of campus. Okie lite has one overbearing donor and an AD he can't get along with. It is nowhere in the same league as Tennessee, and not any amount of T Boone money can make it that way.
