The companies do not "have to" carry the B1G network. What it does is increase the subscriber fee for cable companies in Maryland if they do choose to carry it.

when BTN becomes part of the sports package and its the only way to watch Terps hoops which they are crazy about people will demand their company carries it.

Don't be a 'tard.

You said "have to." I clarified that there is nothing forcing cable providers to carry the B1G network. Customer demand may, however, convince them to do it.
