Gotta replace my boat trailer axle and hubs

Got back late yesterday from fishing and the LSU game was in the 4th quarter so I waited until this morning to wash down the boat. Friggin passenger side trailer hub was completely disconnected and spinning free on what is left of the end of the axle. The axle and hubs will have to be replaced. Got seriously lucky not to lose the boat on the side of the road. Anyone know of a good place to get trailer axle parts?

I think Herb's trailers in Baton Rouge has parts. Central Hitch had them but the moved locations. Not sure about any in Laffy

I got a new axle built in a day for 125 with hubs. In New beria though.

Bring it to a fab shop and let them fix it. I had a bent spindle. Cost $100 bucks to cut it and straighten it and put a gorilla weld back on it.

Herbs will fix you up at a great price.

Thanks for the tips. Can't really take it anywhere cause the wheel will fall off, so I have to get the assembly and bring it to the trailer.

I'm guessing it's a single axle?
Not that hard to change an axle, just takes some muscle and lots of kroil to loosten bolts. Or a torch.

Yes, single axle, no brakes. Looks like I can just take off u-bolts and drop the axle right off. I'm no mechanic, but if I can get an axle the right size, with the hubs put on and bearings packed, it looks like something I can do without much know how.
