Not even close.
Shouldn't you be out searching for a coach that knows football?
Ultimate Hog. Ultimate Dumb arse is more appropriate.

How is it not, who has Ohio State beat?
Michigan State? Last in their division.
Miami Ohio? Cal? UCF? UAB? Purdue? Indiana? Penn State? Illinois? fricking AWFUL. AWFUL.
Nebraska is about the only decent win, and they haven't beat anyone at all, and lost to UCLA in their one decent OOC game.

Good one.

I still like how these OSU fans are trying to claim that the "top" of the SEC contains 6 fricking teams

The conversation was middle tier. Your criteria. Mississippi State falls into this tier and they have zero quality wins.
I like how you use supposition instead of fact. You spout out what you think would happen as fact when you have no basis in fact for your little theory.

Cool. Neither does GT and Wisconsin. Two teams who are going to their conference championships. Same with Rutgers and Louisville.

Ah. So it's the ACC and Big Least now. I have no comeback for that one. They both suck overall.

Wisconsin is in the acc? Can you read?
Posted on 11/18/12 at 9:14 pm to JohnnyKilroy
Wisconsin is in by default. You know they are the third place team in that division. Well, second if they win next Saturday.

We'd win every other conference in America with ease.
Chip Kelly would pecker slap most teams in the SEC.
Clearly, the problem with this debate is you retards cannot come up with a reasonable differentiation of quality in the SEC. What are the top, middle, and bottom teams?
Here is how I sorted them. Of course, Alabama should be the favorite against nearly everyone. The next five teams are all pretty impressive that may be able to beat any team. The other eight are pretty shitty and would have no chance at winning a major conference.
Elite:
Alabama
Very good (teams like this exist in most other major conferencs):
Georgia
Florida
LSU
Texas A&M
South Carolina
Mid tier:
Mississippi State
Vanderbilt
Mediocre at best:
Missouri
Ole Miss
Tennessee
Arkansas
shite stains:
Auburn
Kentucky

Long-standing problem and a losing battle.
Never ending refrain:
"In the SEC"....(insert adjectives and accolades that apply MOSTLY just to LSU and Bama.)
"If you had to play in the SEC"...(I'd pick Georgia's schedule.)
"The SEC is a gauntlet"...(reality - one year we might play LSU, Florida, Auburn the next year we might play Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama. But I'm going to pretend in this debate that we play them all - ever year...especially the ranked ones...and never play, Vandy, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Miss. State, Georgia Southern, Savannah State, the Citadel and Western Carolina.
"The SEC is a week in/week out grind" - 2012 schedule, grind SEC style:
Buffalo - bye
Mizzou - meh
Florida International - bye
Vanderbilt - meh
Tennessee - bye
South Carolina - here's the grind
Kentucky - bye
Florida - grind back on
Ole Miss - meh
Auburn - bye
Georgia Southern - bye
Georgia Tech - woo, finish line
Those two weeks on and 8 weeks off must have really took it out of Georgia.
Every conference has top teams that are good. SEC usually has the Top two of their conference be the best in the nation.
But the myth-making of the entire conference and "making it through the conference undefeated is impossible because it's so damn hard." That shite needs to stop from the talking heads. The garbage and middle tier of the SEC shouldn't get a free ride to greatness because they all cash the same checks with SEC written on them.

This is how OSU wins the AP national title IMO.
Bama/UGA loser is out obviously
ND loses to USC, ND is out
FSU beats UF, UF is out
Oregon loses to State, they're out
FSU plays the SEC Champ in the NCG and wins...then OSU can win it...that is what it will take IMO

I have this great idea that tOSU might host a scrimmage against whatever team gets "slighted." That would be a fun game.
