Pastalaya is more consistently "good". Jambalaya has a better chance of being "great" or "mediocre". Think about comparing a Saints regular season game in the dome to a Tiger's regular season game in Death Valley. The Super Dome is just about always "good", it's rarely if ever bad and only once in a while is awe inspiring. Death Valley is more often awe inspiringly awesome, but for ever Bama game there are 3 FCS or sunbelt opponents (Towson, Idaho, ULL, Troy, The Citadel, North Texas, ect).

Pastalaya is harder to screw up by far. Both are very very good.

quote:Sounds like you're saying pastalaya is harder to frick up, where as jambalaya might actually require some skill to execute. Hmmmmm, this may explain the popularity of pastalaya.
