Yep, I'm trolling. No one has ever said that Kobe is right behind Jordan in league history. All of his titles don't mean anything either.

So you're just going to ignore his 18.2ppg over 205 career games stat?
did I say that? you're attempting to put words in my mouth.
I'm saying that Eric Gordon has never once proved himself to be worth any of the hype that some people on here give him. every time you turn around someone is making some nut-hugging post bowing and dancing bananas about him as if he is Dwyane Wade. he put up some good numbers on a VERY BAD Clippers team a few years ago. he did not improve their team, nor has he proven to do anything for us as well (yea I know, but..but..but that game winner one time).
point being - Gordon has a lot to prove before I'm going to bow down and crown him the King like most people on this board have already done. any basketball fan base would laugh at the stupidity of some people acting like this guy is a superstar when he has never proven anything.

LMAO you must be new to basketball if you truly think that Kobe is the second best player ever. come on man, you can't truly be serious?
ESPN has groomed you well!

lol so Robert Horry is right behind him since we are talking about titles?
Posted on 11/17/12 at 10:36 pm to LAwhoDat
Yeah, we're all crowning him the king. We definitely don't just think that he would help us win a lot more games, and clearly the last few games haven't shown it at all.

I don't think he is, but he is top 5 for sure. Using Kobe's stats to insult Gordon is a moronic burn.
Posted on 11/17/12 at 10:37 pm to GrandeBeli
Yeah titles are all I'm talking about. Kobe's body of work is just awful.

when did I ever use Kobe's stats to insult Gordon? again you're putting words in my mouth.
LOL at Kobe being the second best player ever. WOW

those last two seasons and particularly the last one makes his PPG number look better than it really is.

He's a very good defender and should put up ~20ppg when he returns. There aren't many SGs that can do that in the NBA today. No one is acting like Jordan in his prime is sitting on our bench. A lot of people here dislike him. But we're not so fricking stupid as to say we want him to stay hurt. Three of our 5 losses have been by exactly 4 points. Our biggest issues have been scoring the ball (which EG is very good at doing) and perimeter defense (which EG is very good at doing). So, to sum your view up: we're a bunch of stupid homers for thinking he would make a significant difference, and you're right on top of this for hoping that he stays hurt forever while making $14m/yr on our bench. Got it.

Bynum is a headcase. Looks like the 6ers made a huge mistake with their gamble.

I really believe that Andrew Bynum doesn't like playing basketball.

Guy's gonna get a max deal this offseason...
