How many of you actually CC everyday?

I'm just wondering after all these CC threads, how many of you leave the house strapped? Just reading on here, there's lots of folks that have an arsenal on their person or in their vehicle. Do you do it everyday?

I have a pistol that stays in my truck, does that count?

I guess you have one readily available to you. But that's not really CC, is it?

No I dont think, vehicle is an extension of the home.

Anywhere I can't carry, like campus and whatnot, gun stays off my person.
Other than that, I try to put it on me every time I step out of the car. I keep telling myself the one time I don't carry is when I'll need it. I think that's a good thing to always tell yourself.
Oh yea, and don't EVER skip out on your rules of gun safety. Do the same thing EVERY TIME you take that gun out of the holster for whatever reason (be it fondling, chamber check, etc.).
Keep calm and carry one.

i still don't see how you'd CC if you just had on a polo and slacks or something. seems like it wouldn't be comfortable or very concealed.

Just not a huge fan of the idea of carrying all the time. Unless I'm out strolling around Choctaw at 4 in the morning i just don't see the need. I think your safest bet is to just not go in places where you think you would need a gun.
My biggest problem with the idea is that a good portion of the people doing it have absolutely no business doing it. Sure you passed a class and go shoot targets at some gun range, but are you really about to whip that thing out in a hostile situation and start firing down on bad guys ? Probably not.
But hey that's just my opinion.

Haha, I don't actually wear one. That would be beyond retarded to advertise that I'm carrying.

This was literally the first thing our instructor told us. And I quote, "If you cannot bring yourself to shoot another human being, please leave now."
No one should ever take bringing a life to an end as an easy thing. But the decision to do it outweighs some punks desire to hurt me and take my things (or my life). If he has threatened my life, my life is more important than his and worth defending.

Do you not wear your seatbelt in your car when you don't expect to get in a wreck? Do you cancel your insurance on your house when you don't expect it to burn to the ground?
Carrying a gun is a preventative measure, not a proactive one. People who carry them do not take the responsibility lightly. We are responsible for everything that leaves that barrel, unlike law enforcement who have immunity from collateral damage (to a certain degree).

I do agree with this though.
EDIT: I also respect your decision to not carry all the time. Some people don't like having that burden of responsibility on them 24/7 and that's respectable and considerate of others.

This is my dad's EXACT loadout - P380 with Speer Gold Dots. It is insanely concealable. Once you get into the micro .380s/.32s, pocket carrying becomes easy. It just feels like another wallet or cell phone.
I am not a big fan of the exposed-trigger pocket holsters though.

I carry the Kel-Tec P-32 in green/chrome when I want to carry in slim clothes for warm weather.
When I carry in a puffy, warm jacket I put the Chiappa Rhino on my waist.

As long as it's on you and you're confident in your ability to use it and not misuse it, then that's better than it sitting at home or in your car.

But I heard they are surprisingly fun to shoot since the bore axis is so much lower. Very interesting .357...

I took the class in February, but I haven't turned the paperwork in yet for one reason or another. I hope to get by lsp on Wednesday to get my prints done and submit my application.

Again, just my opinion but I don't think comparing having to use a gun on another person to wearing a seatbelt is fair. I guess I just feel that if I need a gun to get to work or class or to the store etc. than either I'm living in the wrong place or it's just my time to go. I'm just not gonna live my life worried some bad guy is gonna steal my wallet or gun me down just because I'm so rich and intimidating looking, which i am both of those.
Also I'm just really enjoying messing with you bapple. If a certain 2 of your shooting buddies were awake I would be messing with them too

Why would I be worried? I'm packing.
