Bama always has a coach or 2 that gets a bigger job at another school. I could see a smaller school looking at Lorenzo Ward at USCe as a possible head coach. Oklahoma seems to loose top assistants on a yearly basis. I think if Texas continues to improve, Manny Diaz will jump at the first HC position offered to him. And I wouldn't be surprised if USC's stdending on how the Kiffin drama goes for the rest of the year. Oh, and there will probably be some staff changes at FSU if they lose to UF and Virginia Tech needs a major overhaul.

By all accounts Diaz is being told to look around and find a safe landing spot - I'd be surprised if he's back but he's being given the opportunity to find a spot first. And regarding improvement, when the D is as bad as it's been, there's no way to go but up. That falls on him - rumor is that other D coaches are already having greater input on game plans and having some veto power on play calls.
